Mijn naam is Tanja van Dijk, 35 jaar, woon in Utrecht (ten noorden van het centrum) en heb 12 jaar verschillende koren gedirigeerd (jongerenkoren, kinderkoor, gemengd koor en vrouwenkoor( a capella, 5 jaar) ). Ik heb Conservatorium Schoolmuziek als achtergrond.

Goedenmorgen,
Graag zou ik in het verzorgingshuis waar ik werk een koor willen oprichten, krijg steeds meer vragen hiervoor. Het zal een koor moeten worden waarbij ook familie en/of mantelzorgers aanwezig zijn en actief deelnemen.
Het verzorgingshuis staat in de wijk Overvecht in Utrecht.
Ben op zoek naar een dirigent(e) die 1 x per week overdag ( dag en uur staat nog niet vast ) twee uur wil dirigeren voor een groep ouderen waarbij de muziek makkelijk toegankelijk moet zijn. ( Hollandse en/of makkelijke Engelse liederen.)

YoungMi Choi -pianist and composer, works in various fields of music such as crossover jazz,
contemporary music and free improvisation.
YoungMi Choi was born in South Korea, she started playing classical piano at the age of seven.
At the age of 10, she awarded 2nd prize in national junior classical piano competition.
In her early years, she performed in many concerts as a pianist/keyboardist in several music groups
in South-Korea, and worked as a songwriter and arranger.
In 2002, she came to Nederland to study jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag.
During the summer of the same year, she took part in summer course in Sienna(Italy)
where she studied with Paolo Fresau and Enrico Rava.
During her studies in the Netherlands she studied with Jurai Stanik and Marc van Roon .
She participated in many workshops of great Musicians (Micheal Breaker, David Liebman,
John Taylor, Kenny Wanner, Barry Harris, Chris Cheek, etc.)
She finished her bachelor studies in 2005.
Over the years she performed with many musicians from different musical backgrounds,
in the Netherlands as well as in Belgium, Austria and Italy.
She continued studying jazz-piano and jazz-composition with Geijn van de Heijn and Roderik de Man.
During her Masters study, she enriched the sphere of her musical activity to various genres
such as, tango, classical contemporary music and musical.
She was awarded a master degree in jazz piano&composition in 2007.
In October of 2007 her first Jazz Opera was performed in The Hague by the KC orchestra and six soloists,
it was conducted by Christian Karlsen.
The Opera was written entirely by Young mi Choi (music, story, libretto) and the performance was produced by her.
From 2008-2011 she studied contemporary (classical) composition at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague
with Guus Jansen and Diderik Wagenaar. She graduated in May 2011.
During this period she performed as a pianist in various contemporary music ensembles, performing music of Stravinsky, Peter Schat,
and works of young composers, as well as Jazz and Improvised music.
YoungMi Choi is active as a contemporary music composer.
Her compositions were performed by various ensembles and soloists in The Netherlands.
Most recently (April 2011) her work was selected to be performed at “International Componisten Weekend Workum” by ‘It Nije Ensemble’.

Zou u contact met mij willen nemen? Als vaste dirigente van het Goois Ouderenkoor, heb ik veel ervaring met het dirigeren van groepen ouderen. De repertoire/muziek is geen probleem! Overdag ben ik beschikbaar op maandag, dinsdag en/of donderdag ochtend – evt. ook vrijdag ochtend.

Betreft: Koor Dirigent
Graag stel ik mij via deze brief aan u voor. Naar aanleiding van de advertentie voor een dirigent ben ik misschien als koor dirigent, muziek docent, band leider en muzikant de aangewezen persoon voor deze functie.
